experience preferred. Description: Library monitor will ensure
the security and well-being of library patrons, employees, and the

processing, databases, e-mail, fire and security alarm system software.
Proficiency with police records management system, police CAD systems,
and in responding to alarms. Background check required, and once
hired random drug test required. Description: Responds to
all emergency and non-emergency telephone calls coming into Public
Safety department; determines routing of those calls; coordinates
multiple two-way radio communications. Uses intuition, policing
skills, and judgment acquired on the job and in informal and formal
training to determine priority for action on simultaneously occurring
incidents and dispatches university police accordingly. Operates
CAD real time tracking in the Automated Records Management System
to record and track all university police patrol activities. Integrates
and tracks police activities via ARMS Case Management, ARMS Proper
Files, Master Name Files, and Vehicle Records databases.
