Carolina Gou-Leonhardt, above, sits in front of Mount Trashmore, a pile of garbage assembled on the main quad to demonstrate just how much waste is produced at AU in a single day. “Trash Day” was one of many Eco-Week events sponsored by Eco-Sense, AU’s environmental awareness group. Others included the screening of a film on rain forests and the examination of environmentally-friendly modes of transportation, such as hybrid cars.
