What better way to achieve atonement and repentance than twisting yourself into the “downward-facing dog” or “half-lotus pose”? Jewish Campus Service Corps fellow Melissa Frank led nearly a dozen members of the AU community through a new trend in meditation and reflection for Judaism’s highest holy day—Yom Kippur Yoga. The session, which offered Jewish students, faculty, and staff a contemporary method for upholding an ancient tradition, was sponsored by AU Hillel.
