More than 1,500 students brought their laptops to Network Operations staff at the beginning of the semester as the information technology specialists worked long hours to get new students connected to AU’s system. The staffers stayed on campus from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, including weekends, to ensure that all computers, from the latest wireless laptops to personal computers, were ready to go for the new semester.
