Senior White House correspondent named
SIS alumnus of the year
David Gregory ’92, second from the left, was honored during the 47th anniversary celebration of SIS last Wednesday at the Philippine Embassy. With Gregory are SIS dean Louis Goodman, left, SIS senior associate dean Nanette Levinson, and Philippine ambassador Albert del Rosario. The event also highlighted the partnership between AU and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), based in the Philippines.
Gregory, senior White House correspondent for NBC News, said his college experience provided him a window to the world full of ideas and different viewpoints and allowed him to develop his own ideas. “The mission of the school is not only the development of good thinkers but people who are concerned about the world, conflict resolution, and development of our world,” he said.
“It’s such a wonderful honor and it’s terrific to be reengaged with Dean Louis Goodman and SIS and to be a part of its past, and I hope to be part of the future, as well,” Gregory concluded. —EMAR |
