He’s internationally known in human rights law, is dean of the Washington College of Law (WCL)—and plays a heck of an accordion. Dean Claudio Grossman, upper left, played “Que Sera Sera” and “When the Saints Go Marching In” at WCL’s first annual Faculty-Staff Talent Show last Thursday. Billie Jo Kaufman, the library’s associate dean, performed karaoke, upper right, while Professor Lewis Grossman channeled Frank Sinatra, lower right. NBC-TV’s technology correspondent, I. J. Hudson, lower left, was an emcee for the show, which raised funds for the Equal Justice Foundation. The event earned $1,200 to help provide stipends for law students to take low or nonpaying public interest jobs during the summer. An auction will be held in March and typically raises around $100,000, says Kathy Thompson, WCL’s director of public relations. —SA
