Art abounds at the Katzen, where earlier this month, visitors celebrated a trio of new exhibits.

The artist’s reception celebrated the launch of three exhibits—Comic Reality: Political Cartoons by Ibero-American Artists, Remembering Marc and Komei, and From the Studio, which showcases works from the art department’s 21 studio faculty members. Here, visitors stroll past sculptures by Mark Oxman.

From the Studio and Remembering Marc and Komei, which features the art collection of H. Marc Moyens and Komei Wachi, who owned Washington’s Gallery K for nearly 30 years until their deaths, months apart, in 2003, run through March 12. Comic Reality closed earlier this week. —AF
