2007 multicultural and international awards

Andre Ingram is often a winner in his role as point guard on the Eagles men’s basketball team. He’s also a winner off the court as a physics major at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), which earned him one of two Scholar-Athlete awards in last week’s 21st annual Multicultural Affairs and International Student and Scholar Services awards ceremony.

Ingram, left, who has served as co-captain of the basketball team, was given the award by men’s basketball coach Jeff Jones, right. He won Patriot League Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2004, and this season was named to the All-Patriot League first team as a senior. His 1,619 career points are sixth all-time at AU. Christina Wright, a track competitor from the School of Communication, also won a Scholar-Athlete award.
