Eagles Flock to Philly

The giant banners that adorn Hughes Hall, the Katzen Arts Center, and locations across campus say it all: AU’s dancing. Hundreds of students, faculty, and staff—all donning AU red and blue—gathered in front of the Mary Graydon Center Tuesday to send off the 14th-seeded Patriot League champs. They will take on Villanova, Thursday, in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Earlier in the week, Eagles fans, some with sleeping bags and snacks, waited outside Bender Arena for up to 10 hours for tickets to the East Regional matchup at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. Let the madness begin!
