Music students raise money for Adams Morgan arts center

Spinoza Practice Club president Scott Hansen presented a check for $1,000 to Sitar Arts Center deputy director Maureen Dwyer in Washington, D.C., last week. The club raised the money during its Apr. 1 practice-a-thon and donated it to the center, which serves at-risk youth and their families in Adams Morgan. —MU
