Strategic plan meeting
The next town hall meeting sponsored by the Strategic Planning Steering Committee will be Monday, Apr. 28, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the McDowell Formal Lounge.
“We were delighted with the turnout at the first town hall,” said steering committee chair Bill DeLone, referring to the March 28 meeting that drew nearly 100 staff, faculty, and students. “We’re hoping the enthusiasm for the planning process continues.”
For those who cannot attend the meeting, Delone said the committee’s Web site, serves as a “continuous town hall meeting.”
The site contains information about the planning process, higher education reports, and data on AU’s faculty, student body, academic programs, alumni, facilities, and staff. While some portions of the site are open to the general public, members of the AU community may access all sections by using their AU log-in to sign on.
DeLone said the Web site will keep the community informed and give everyone the opportunity to contribute ideas. Click on “Submit Feedback” to make comments, share thoughts, or ask questions.
