Presidential Management Fellows feted

American University’s 36 Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) were honored last Tuesday night during a reception in the garden and patio outside the President’s Office Building. AU’s 36 finalists were the third most of any university in the country. The PMF program is designed to attract to the federal service outstanding men and women from a variety of graduate and professional programs and in a variety of career paths who have a clear interest in, and commitment to, excellence in the leadership and management of public policies and programs.
The School of International Service had the most finalists, with 15. The School of Public Affairs followed with 11, Washington College of Law had six, the College of Arts and Science three, and Kogod School of Business one. The PMF winners are: Julia Alanen, Erin Baize, Elizabeth Bowditch, Tanya Brothen, Nicole Finnemann, Kyle Harding, Amanda Lorman, Kristin Lundberg, Blair Mersinger, Miranda Moore, James R. Satrom, Reid Smith, Kevin Sullivan, Karen Welch, James Zanotti, Bridget Beirne, Lacy Kilraine, Eamon Monahan, Jonathan Mueller, Rachel Nagle, Megan O’Har, Cyndee Pelt, Tricia Pray, Tamara Lyn Rivera, Suzanne Roosen, Danielle Taylor, Anna Drake, Adam Norlander, Benjamin Nussdorf, Andrew Strelka, Ryan Vogel, Shirley Woodward, John Adamec, Natalie Hanson, Sara Mangiaracina, and Jana Lind. —MU
