Neon sculpture lights up Ward Circle
The Katzen Arts Center isn’t just a place for the arts. It’s an artwork in its own right, a building whose material, light, color, and shape create a strong visual impression. Artists responded to the Katzen in a show at the AU Museum called Architecture/Sculpture, which includes these dramatic bolts of neon by Craig Kraft, “Aerial Delineation, 2006.” Floating ladders and a red frame around a massive Katzen window also mark the outdoor show, which will be on view through Jan. 27. —SA
