International flavor on menu at annual SIS dinner

More than 300 hungry faculty, staff, and students munched on culinary delights from around the globe during last Wednesday’s annual SIS international dinner.

The event, organized by SIS senior Lori Mosher, above left, with SIS associate dean Maria Green Cowles, featured dishes, including shwarma, spaghetti, and Swedish meatballs, from eight local eateries.

“It was nice for the SIS community to just enjoy an evening together,” said Mosher of the event, which also featured performances by several international dance and choral groups. “Professors and students always see each other in class, but we never have the time to just get together and have fun.” —AF
