Summer 2005

Funding the Scholars

Over the next decade, the annual cost of a private college education is expected to swell by 63 percent to nearly $47,000, according to The Princeton Review. AU’s scholarship fund, which last year helped 354 undergraduate and graduate students, not only draws some of the most talented young minds to Washington, D.C., but helps ease the financial burden for students and parents alike. And as costs continue to climb, scholarships will play an increasingly vital role in maintaining AU’s vibrant community of students.
