Seeing into the future

Two years ago, there was a 660-foot-long hole where the Dr. Cyrus and Myrtle Katzen Arts Center stands. Even if you had the blueprints, it would have been hard to envision the 130,000-square-foot arts center there now. But imagine how hard it was to see the Katzen before plans for it existed. Impossible as it may seem, that’s what the Katzens and other donors did. They looked at AU and saw the future. Today, donors with vision, like those pictured here, continue that tradition, seeing new centers, new buildings, and new scholarships long before the rest of us.
